   Welcome to Highlights in Education! Again and again, educators are overwhelmed with the bad news in Education from the media and society.  From teaching to the test, not meeting state and federal benchmarks for standardized testing, to paperwork that never seems to end; effective educators need to see high morale and motivation to improve our careers and goals.

   Highlights in Education hopes to bring the best of what is happening in American schools, from our classrooms and our students straight to you.  Positive thoughts are not enough. There have to be positive feelings and positive actions to make teaching come alive in classrooms across America. By being positive, we are setting our OWN classroom objectives.
